FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE AI LAWYER

1. What is the AI Lawyer and how does it help?

The AI Lawyer is an online artificial intelligence tool that provides immediate, general answers to citizens’ legal questions. It functions as a first point of information: it directs the user to the correct branch of law, explains basic concepts and indicates the next steps. It does not replace a meeting with a lawyer, nor does it issue a personalised legal opinion. However, it helps someone understand whether their problem falls within criminal, administrative or civil law, which documents will be needed and which deadlines must be observed before rights are lost. It is a first digital gateway for communication with the firm.

2. Can I rely solely on the AI’s answers?

No. The answers are general in nature and do not take into account the particularities of your own case. Each case has its own facts, documents, time-frames and evidentiary material that completely change the legal strategy. An AI system has no access to a case file, does not assess witnesses, does not monitor case-law in real time and does not represent anyone in court. For every serious decision, such as filing a criminal complaint, bringing a lawsuit, lodging a petition or signing a contract, a personal meeting with a lawyer who will study the file is required.

3. In which areas does the chatbot provide answers?

The chatbot mainly covers the firm’s areas of specialisation: cybercrime (online fraud, phishing, sexual extortion (sextortion), personal data breaches), administrative law (fines, administrative acts, petitions against the State) and real estate law (sales and purchases, leases, evictions, title checks). It also provides general guidance on criminal offences, employment and family law. When a question goes beyond these limits or requires detailed analysis, the system suggests contacting the lawyer to arrange an appointment.

4. How much time do I save by using the AI Lawyer?

Usually a citizen’s first questions are answered within a few seconds, without having to wait for an appointment or a telephone call. This is particularly helpful when there is anxiety over an urgent matter (e.g. theft of money from a bank account, service of a summons, notification from the tax office). The user immediately gets an idea of whether the matter is genuinely urgent, what the deadlines are and which documents to prepare before the appointment. In this way, the meeting with the lawyer becomes more productive and focused, as the client arrives prepared.

5. What documents should I have ready when I book an appointment?

It depends on the type of case. In criminal matters, summonses, criminal complaints and extracts from the case file are needed. In administrative cases, the act imposing the fine or rejection, proof of service and the supporting documents submitted to the authority are required. In real estate cases, title deeds, topographical surveys, the property’s electronic identity and certificates of no encumbrances are needed. In online fraud, bank account transactions, screenshots, emails and any communication with the perpetrator are required. The more complete the file, the more accurate the initial assessment.

6. What is the lawyer’s role after using the chatbot?

The lawyer takes on the substantive legal defence. They study the file, identify weaknesses on the opposing side, formulate strategy, draft pleadings, represent the client before courts and authorities, file applications, exercise legal remedies and negotiate out-of-court settlements. Our firm, with many years of experience in cybercrime, administrative law and real estate law, provides personalised support that no automated system can replace. The chatbot is the first step — substantive legal protection begins with personal communication.
